A very interesting take on orchestral dubstep... I think the piano is nice, though sounding out of key at some points, I don't know whether that's purposeful or not. I don't really think the percussive section that you currently have really fits an orchestral track, but it is nice for more hard type tracks. I think the bass growls/synths could have a bit more variety in the pitch section. But if you were to make all of those happen I would love to see the outcome! :)

phoenixapprentice responds:

The orchestral section in the middle I did purposely make dissonant, and the drums are meant for a dubstep track. Annnd I don't really understand what you mean by 'more variety in the pitch section'. So ... yeah. I don't think I'll edit this song because I'm not seeing much that I can really change. Thanks for the review tho.

This sounds like Stranger Lands, only slowed down. I'm sorry but only 2 stars.

Thanks for your opinion :)

Love the bouncy vibe to this! Really gets good at 1:28!

Zodin responds:

I too love the bouncy transition. Thanks!

Those vocal splices, I can only dream to make produce such an amazing sound. Not to mention the blissful pad bass sidechaining and overall mixing quality. My ears feel honored to have access to such a piece!

Geoplex responds:

Haha thanks man. Really high praise :P I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Dang man! I found you from your 2012 track, Tunnel Vision, and I thought that was great! (For today's standards too) But this, this is purely awesome! What software/plug-ins did you use? (More specifically, on the growls/wubs of the sort.) Keep it up! Earned a follower!

Kaskrin responds:

FL Studio 12, and Massive for everything pretty much. Thanks dude!

Fantastic progession with the beat and chords! Though the drop is oddly pitchy, I understand how hard it can be to find harmony in a drop and also make a powerful feeling, nonetheless, I like this song very much! It has a certain video game vibe which I very much enjoy!

SirHadoken responds:

Thank you! :D
Making the drop for this was definitely a challenge; I didn't do as well as I had hoped, but the end result was still worth the effort. I'm glad you think so :)

Very good bass to this! I love the sort of chase-anxiety feel to this! Keep up the great work, Overdose!

Zodin responds:

I'll do my best :]

Thank you very much !

Really love this amazing track! Hope it gets scouted ;) I'd love to use it in GD.

n00bitron responds:

Thanks! :) I'm thinking of remastering it

Seemed awesome for a loop in a videogame as ambient music but it could use more, ummm, I guess action to it. As right now it sounds more like a butterfly with a mini bow and arrow hunt rather than a terrorist hunt if you know what I mean. But better than I can do XD

ET16 responds:

Well I was mainly going for a menu theme it wasn't meant to be anything crazy... Yet.

This song started out ok, but it progressed into a really awesome beat! It's one of my favorites! Sorry for such a short review, it deserves longer but I was too busy listening to it more!

alternativesolution responds:

Thanks a lot!

Not too good at things. I try to write music.
